Radel® R-5500 NT is a general purpose extrusion grade of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), which offers exceptional hydrolytic stability, and superior toughness to other commercially-available, high-temperature engineering resins. This resin also offers high deflection temperatures and outstanding resistance to environmental stress cracking.
Introduction
Radel® R-5500 NT is a general purpose extrusion grade of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), which offers exceptional hydrolytic stability, and superior toughness to other commercially-available, high-temperature engineering resins. This resin also offers high deflection temperatures and outstanding resistance to environmental stress cracking. Radel® polymers are inherently flame retardant, provide excellent thermal stability and possess good electrical properties.
This material is available in pellet form that can be used with standard plastic processing equipment. The NT grade material pellets are transparent in appearance.
