ELVAX 260
Elvax® 260 by DuPont is an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade, filled with 28%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. Contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer. Exhibits flex crack resistance, excellent clarity, cling, impact- and puncture resistance. Offers flexibility, resilience, environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) and is lightweight, favorable value-in-use and economics.

Application
ELVAXTM resins can be used in a variety of applications involving molding,compounding, extrusion, adhesives, sealants,and wax blends.
Features
ELVAX can be used in conventional extrusion equipment designed to processpolyethylene resins.
However,corrosion-protected barrels,screws,adapters,anddies are recommended,since,at sustained melt temperatures above 455°F (235°C),ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA)resins may thermally degrade and release corrosive by-products.
