ELVAX 250
ELVAX™ 250 by Dow is an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade, filled with 28%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer. It offers flex crack resistance, excellent clarity, cling, impact- and puncture resistance. It provides flexibility, resilience, and environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR).

Features
ELVAX can be used in conventional extrusion equipment designed to processpolyethylene resins.
However,corrosion-protected barrels,screws,adapters,anddies are recommended,since,at sustained melt temperatures above 455°F (235°C),ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA)resins may thermally degrade and release corrosive by-products.
